The globally renowned English magazine, National Geographic, has released it’s 2018 ‘Cool list’. According to the publication, this list reveals “the coolest haunts, the hippest hangouts, the bucket list breaks and the enthralling escapes.” The Cool list shares 18 hotspots around the world and Mauritius has made its 2018 list at number 13.
It is no surprise that Mauritius made this exclusive list, we knew this continent was by far one of the coolest places to live or visit. It’s 50-year independence, beautiful coastline, luxury holiday resorts, cultural diversity, 400-year history and easy access to all parts of the world all played its part in making Mauritius a must-have on the National Geographic list.
Mauritius has made its mark on the world, not just National Geographic as it continues to be the best performing African continent and ranked high for, but not limited to, ease of doing business, economic growth, travel and tourism competitiveness, global competitiveness and property investment.
